likely和probable意思相同,意为 “很有可能”,但前者常用于口语. Possible意为 “有可能”,因此likely和probable的可能性比possible大, 语气比possible强.
It’s possible but not probable/ likely that she will come here next month. 她有可能下月来这里, 但不肯定.
