Teaching aims: 1. The pupils can read and say these new sentences: Look at --- It has --- It’s so ---
2. The pupils can use the sentences to introduce the animals correctly .

Teaching tools: pictures, cards, tapes and toys.

Teaching steps:
Step1. Warm-up/ Revision
1.     Greetings.
2.     Sing the song “Hide and Seek.”
3.     Read the letters by cards.
Step2. Presentation
1.     Say the chant. “I have a pencil. Me too.” Revise the animal words: cat, pig, monkey, mouse, 

panda and so on.
2.     Teach: big, small, so. Look at the pictures. T: Look at the pig. It’s big. It’s SO big. Pay an 

attention to the word “ SO”. T: Look at the mouse. It’s small. It’s SO small. Then help the pupils 

say: Look at the cat. It’s so fat. Look at the monkey. It’s so funny.
3.     Teach “long”, “short” and “It’s has ---” Show the pupils a toy monkey and revise the words: eyes, nose, ears, mouth. Then help the
