Now make a list of the rules at your houses. You can use Zhao Pei’s list of rules as a model.
Give the Ss some minutes to write. And then have some students read their lists to the class. Make language corrections as needed.
说明:由课本内容直接引入到学生自己身上,提供一些句子框架,要求学生通过对话的形式来完成对自己家中规则的描述。(这里如果用单人描述可能有一点难度,因而通过提供一些框架通过一问一答的方式来完成。)
2. Make a survey
First, point out the sample question and answer in the picture
in the book. Ask two students to read it to the class.
Ask students to move around the classroom and ask each other questions. Their job is to find other students who have the same rules.
When student A finds another student with the same rule, student A writes the other student’s name next to that rule on his or her list.
Then do a quick check to see which rules are most common.
说明:让学生列出自己家中的规则清单,从而对祈使句的肯定形式与否定形式进行了巩固,同时也对列清单这一技能进行了操练。
(Alternative: If you would prefer not to have your students move around the room, you can ask them to do this activity in groups of four. They survey the other members of their group to find who has the same rules as they do.)
说明:班级调查活动是对本课所学知识的综合运用和巩固。让学生在教室里自由活动进行调查,对自由交流的能力进行了锻炼与提升。但可能课堂调控有点困难,场面会有点混乱。也可换成四人一组的小组活动,但调查的结果还是前者比较真实一点。
五、教学SelfCheck
1.SelfCheck 1
四人一个小组教学SelfCheck中1部分的单词,相互纠正发音,检查单词的拼写。利用第一部分中的单词,在班上快速轮流做句子,要求不能重复运用同一个句式,教师对于每个人的表现做出适当的评价。
2.SelfCheek 2
本单元在学习过程中,学生不可避免的运用到许多课本不曾出现的新单词,要求同学们将自己所掌握的新单词写出来。
3.SelfCheek 3
学生认真观察图片,对不同的图片进行描述,把每幅图片代表的规则表达出来。
六、作业(Homework)
背诵本单元的词汇和句型。
